The objective of the research is to analyse artificial intelligence in the administration of justice in Ecuador. The methodology is supported by a bibliographic typology composed of a total of 11 research papers. It is important to emphasise that the alignment between technology and human interpretation in a legal context remains essential to ensure an efficient and fair trial. Artificial intelligence represented by chatbots can coexist with human legal methods, providing a new perspective on conflict resolution in the legal system, indicating that the combination of chatbots introduces a new paradigm in the provision of legal services.
