Abstract

The study aims to analyse the integration of artificial intelligence in kinematic understanding through problem-based learning as an innovative teaching strategy. A descriptive documentary design was used, involving a systematic analysis of fourteen bibliographic sources published between 2008 and 2025, structured in four stages: identification, selection, content analysis and interpretative synthesis. The results identify five thematic categories: pedagogical foundations of PBL in physics, showing improvements in conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills; conceptual difficulties in kinematics related to the coordination of representation systems and intuitive conceptions; applications of AI in physics teaching, facilitating personalisation of learning and automatic diagnosis of difficulties; convergence between PBL and AI, generating methodological synergies that enhance both components; and documented effects showing significant increases in student motivation and conceptual understanding.
